Dear Planetary Kin,

As a co-worker in the 13 Moon-calendar Dreamspell, I offer you information about the Tzolkintoy: a perpetual Tzolkin-calendar, a transparent colorful instument to enjoy and understand the Holy Tzolkin. he calendar is based on cycles in a way that it has perpetual validity. The transparency of the calendar gives unexpected bright color-combinations and patterns and enables clear reading of the Kin of the day.

Tzolkintoy

The Tzolkintoy is a work of art and a tool to play with.

The Tzolkintoy contains 7 transparent coloured sheets, circular in form (12 inches diameter), each representing the cycles
(1) 13 Galactic tones
(2) 20 Solar seals
(3) 20 Wavespells
(4) 5 Castles
(5) 4 Seasons
(6) a 260 KIN-cycle in Maya-names.

The 7th sheet shows a green arrow for the daily reading and the words "Time is Art".

The daily kin is read on the left: kin within wavespell, within castle, within season…….. visible in transparant colorful sections.
The colours are red-transparent(white)-blue-yellow and green.
The design has a perpetual character and is easy in use, while hanging on a string in front of the window.
The two outer sheets are less flexible, to guarantee the consistancy of the calendar-form.
Every sheet has a triangular handle with a color-code: a memory-supportin learning the movement of the cycles.
Also separate sheets are useful in an overheadprojector: in a workshop by example; each sheet adding up to the comprehension of the Tzolkin.

Price
The price of the calendar is 18 Euro of 15 Britisch Pounds (price of stamps depending on destination)

The Tzolkintoy is in production and use since 1998.
An instruction-manual with explanations is included.

After completing a Dreamspell-lecture and workshop in 1996, I found the similarity between nature processes and natural time: movement in cycles. My intention to translate the wisdom of the 13 Moon-calendar took form in the design of tools:
- the Tzolkintoy in 1997
- 13 illustrations of the Galactic tones in 1998, showing the steps of the 13 tone-process
- the Dutch version of the Dreamspell in 1998, originally presented (in English) by José and Lloydine Argüelles in 1990: a tool to comprehend the 13 Moon-calendar and the Natural Cycles of Time and Earth-history.

It is my wish to support this understanding and to inspire play-time, which is natural time or “flow”.
